To The Guy Who Wore A MAGA Shirt To The Funeral
Biased article alert!
What the heck?
No, seriously. Why on Earth would you do that? You lowered the tacky bar to a previously unknown abyss. Trump himself would go, “we set that bar so low…with me it’s the lowest it’s ever been!”
Let’s pretend the deceased was a big Trump fan, and you’re honoring the memory by flashing your political gang colors. What about the attendees? Grieving minds aren’t always the most rational, and we all know how well-behaved political discussions have been lately.
It just seems like a risk I’d rather avoid.
Let’s pretend every single person there was a Trump supporter. Unless you’re polling everyone at the entrance, like Florida seems to want to do, it would be hard to verify. Plus, given the party’s stances on being respectful (how ironic), standing up for the national anthem, never questioning our supreme leader, and such, I find it borderline rude to wear such attention-grabbing clothing to a funeral. It’s like proposing during a friend’s wedding (unfortunately, I’ve seen that happen, too).
I guess it’s also like wearing gear supporting a sport team in an area where there is a rivalry, but politics have a more direct effect on our lives.
Just save your personal opinions until later.
I saw you high-fiving some people over your attire, which brings up another concern.
Just grow up.
